What we do

Exercise physiology assessment and rehabilitation

Individualised exercise programs designed to support injury rehabilitation,
chronic condition management, and long-term strength and health.

manage illness & injury

Rehabilitation & clinical management

Injuries and chronic conditions are not just managed – each individual’s circumstances are assessed and approaches are adjusted in order to restore performance capacity and capability as much as possible.
Pre- and post-surgery
e.g. cardiac conditions, joint reconstructions, cancer, complex fractures.
Chronic disease management
– exercise physiology is used to treat 9 of the 10 most common chronic conditions in Australia, in addition to helping to manage chronic pain.
Complex musculoskeletal issues
e.g. osteoporosis, arthritis, chronic pain conditions, lower back pain, pregnancy / post-partum recovery.
Mental health & wellbeing
– selecting exercise therapy that is appropriate for the condition and circumstances to support depression, PTSD, anxiety disorders and general mental wellbeing.

Improve balance – reduce falls risk, increase agility and improve mobility through targeted strength exercises, and drills for speed / reaction and proprioception.
Dual-tasking and coordination – through complex exercise broken down step-by-step.
Improve mobility and posture – mobility and posture – for better quality of life and less pain.

“

“Dominic has tailored my training to adapt to changes in my health over time, helping me maintain strength and fitness for the demands of working with children.
“Dominic’s programs and guidance helped me stay resilient and keep working through setbacks such as respiratory illness and a broken bone in my foot.
“Now in my 60s, the training also provides important mental health benefits. Working in a fast-paced environment that requires constant multitasking can be challenging, and regular exercise supports both focus and emotional balance. The training supports the brain-body connection that helps me with focus, as well as my body awareness – something that does not come naturally to me.”

Working with the arts & entertainment industry

Helping to prepare artists for the physical demands and features of their role or performance.
As many performers extend their careers, we also use exercise to help artists manage chronic illness or injuries, or reduce the risk or severity of illness and injury.

NEW – specialised group sessions

Move Smooth

Achieve more pain-free, confident and useful movement with your body!
The focus is mobility – improving the useful range of motion of a joint, and ensuring there is strength through that range of motion. Other features include muscle balance, while reducing tension.
We take useful features from Pilates, yoga, martial arts and sports training, then utilise them in a small group setting. This allows us to address each individual’s issues with mobility, muscle recruitment, flexibility and pain.
Suitable for those with tight or painful muscles, or movement hesitation (e.g. due to previous injury or trauma).

NOTE – people with dystonia and other neurological conditions may need a higher level of treatment and supervision.

NEW – specialised group sessions

SLO
Stop Looking Old

These small group sessions are specifically tailored for the prevention and management of age-related musculoskeletal and neurological symptoms, including posture, balance and stability, bone density and muscle mass, reactive response, and range of motion.
It’s never too early to start training so that you can stay stronger for longer, and have a body that appears younger.

Sport-specific programs

Rig & Core
Sailing Strength performance programs

We’ve developed a library of training exercises and drills to help both yacht and dinghy sailors improve strength, resilience to injury, and efficiency for better sailing performance and durability. The program addresses common sailing injuries and can be individualised to keep you sailing through chronic illness or injuries.
